What a wet day, but we have been able to work mostly in the dry.  On the CCT the new end doors have had nearly all the extra metalwork re-fitted.  Further steelwork has been cleaned down, primed and undercoated.  The other door frames have been repaired and a start made on applying the paint.  New planks should be fitted next weekend, all being well.

We have a new pair of double glazed windows fitted at the front of the cottage and the benefit can already be felt!  Installing the window sashes was easy, getting the right loading on the sash weights was more problematical.  In the end each side needed 1½ weights to work correctly.

Storeman Steve has been sorting out more bits and pieces in hut 3, releasing some storage bins for re-use elsewhere.  If anyone has any spare ‘Lin bins’ or similar they would be gratefully received.  Elsewhere he has painted the other side of the bedroom shelves.
