Well it has been all go on the Wartime project again with polystyrene flying around everywhere but we’re still not going to tell you what it is!  Mike is going slightly crazy with the repetitive nature of the work this weekend though.  Lesley assisted in this and also prepared further road signs for the event – remember there is no car parking anywhere near the station, you are strongly advised to come by train or expect a 1 mile walk to get here.  All the parking in the Forest has also been closed off as well.

Elsewhere Stephen, ably assisted by Brian, has been erecting racking and sorting out contents inside the Warehouse whilst yours truly has strimmed the ‘rifle range’ and line and roadside ready for next weekends Diesel Gala.  Mark has been measuring up the Marishes Road signal box wall panels ready to tie into the new drawing dimensions.

Weighbridge Teas were open as usual and the Cart Sales did particularly well this weekend for some reason.  Meanwhile Beth has been making plum jam (ably assisted by Alex playing drums on the pan lids!) with fruit from the trees around the station so we have something to spread over our toast at breakfast time.
