After such a wet Friday the weekend has again been nice, warm and sunny although we did have a frost on Sunday morning.
We have been working on our secret Wartime project again this weekend making multiple small pieces, including 65 rivets! With all the small parts made, we have begun fixing everything onto the main body. This job involves a lot of screws and Derek Raynor turned up at just the right time, with 3 large bags full of boxes of screws of various sizes.
Some more pieces of spare wagon parts have been cleaned down and primed ready for future use.
On the station, the gardens have continued having a good prune from David and Kevin, whilst Elaine has been clearing the roadside and yard edges of encroaching vegetation.
Weighbridge Teas have had a nice steady weekend and have taken delivery of some new books and magazines.
