Work commenced on the big tidy up on Monday morning with all the French signs removed before the first train came through. The main marquee was dismantled and the sheeting put under cover, as it was dry. The kitchen tent was cleaned down and the contents placed either into store or returned to other stations along the railway.
After the crowds last weekend, this weekend has been more sedate. We have continued the major tidy up and put away with both tanks, the Meschersmitt, the kitchen tent and 20 picnic tables returned to their storage sites. All this takes time so we have been kept busy over both days.
Weighbridge Teas were also back to normal and had another good weekend with plenty of passing trade purchasing their wares.
