started off dry, before we had snow at lunchtime on Saturday, then finished dry albeit foggy whilst Sunday was very wet indeed; the stream and river levels have risen quite a lot today.

In the Yard, the dumper truck has been checked over and is now ready for use again but a bit more work is still needed on the mini digger.  The paintwork on the original wood of our rewheeled NER van is starting to peel off.  To prepare for rubbing down and repainting it has been sheeted over to allow it to start drying out.  The old compost heap has been cleaned out with the non-rotted contents transferred into the newly built heap.

New steelwork has been cut in readiness for welding the rotten platform lighting bracket back together.  The door catch for the east side of the Palvan has been undercoated and a new timber packer prepared ready for its installation.

The new non-slip flooring for the toilet van has been collected and glued into place.  This has allowed the permanent installation of the interior framing and door frames.  Insulation panels have been made, and fitted inside the framing, before a start has been made on refitting the wall panels.  Fitting of the interior plumbing has been started with the copper pipe runs being laid into place.

Sorting of the huts continues.
